The GWC hosts more than 25 events every year on diverse and increasingly interwoven topics, including environmental justice, climate change, public lands management, energy development, the governance of the Colorado River, and tribal resource management. We are proud to convene thought leaders and practitioners to address the most pressing issues of the day.

Our signature events include the annual Ruth Wright Distinguished Lecture Series, a partnership between the GWC and the Colorado Environmental Law Review that features a distinguished figure in the fields of natural resources, energy, and environmental law and policy. The annual Schultz Lectureship Series on oil and gas, energy, and natural resources provides valuable information to policymakers, practitioners, business executives, and the academic community on emerging issues in the field. Additionally, we regularly offer opportunities for students to hear from Colorado Law's natural resources, energy, and environmental law faculty about their work. The GWC also co-sponsors numerous other events that highlight and support natural resources, energy, and the environment at CU Boulder and beyond.
